A new refillable beer bottle will be coming into effect on October 1, 2024. The new refillable beer bottle (Miller Genuine Draft) is a Miller proprietary beer bottle. The Miller proprietary bottle is clear, and its size and shape are similar to the other refillable beer bottles currently on the market.
The Miller proprietary beer bottle has one difference from the other refillable bottles. The Miller bottle does not have treads at the very top (the lid cannot be screwed back on the bottle). Despite this difference, the Miller bottle WILL be considered a refillable container and processed as such. These bottles will be identifiable by the “Miller Genuine Draft” branding on the label.
Like other proprietary refillable beer bottles (Moosehead and Sleeman), Miller Genuine Draft bottles will need to be palletized separately.
