Attention all redemption centres,
We have been made aware that the following beverage – Barbican (various flavours) – is currently being sold in New Brunswick without the proper bilingual Return for Refund message on its label. The Department of Environment and Local Government is working with the distributor in question to rectify the situation. In the meantime, the distributor has been given the Department’s authorization to finish selling its current inventory.
Please take note that this beverage is included in the Beverage Containers Program and is deposit-bearing (even if you cannot find it on the list of registered containers). Encorp will accept it. You can refund your customers.
Corrective measures on the beverage’s labelling are forthcoming.
