Redemption centre (RC) owners should always be on top of pest control in their facility. Rodents and other pests are attracted to residue left in beverage containers, and this is especially true with drinkable yogurt, drinkable kefir and other beverages that contain dairy – rodents may chew their way through a filled bulk bag when attracted to the smell. RCs are expected to store filled bulk bags and pallets in a secure, indoor, dry area, and ensure there is no damage outside of normal wear and tear to bulk bags and pallets.
