The latest dashboard for Encorp Atlantic’s Re-Centre pilot project has been published. This dashboard shows statistics until December 31, 2018. Our data indicates that Interac e-Transfer continues to be the most popular method to cash out, followed by our newest option, the Re-Station. Re-Centre visits also continue to peak around noon on weekends. On average, participants visit the depot and drop-off their used beverage containers nine times before actually cashing out ($56.45 average withdrawal). The Re-Centre drop & go technology gives options to ever-so-busy consumers looking for a fast and easy solution for recycling their deposit-bearing containers and offers interesting potential for driving labour efficiencies at redemption centres across the province.
