Hello redemption centre operators,
With the new extended producer responsibility (EPR) Beverage Containers Program fast approaching, Encorp is providing redemption centres (RCs) with a brief document highlighting changes and important information regarding operations and logistics that take effect on April 1, 2024.
Note that Encorp will soon provide RCs with an Operations & Logistics binder, which is meant to help RC operators and staff by having all the guides, instructions, and notices related to operations and logistics in one place. You can view all the documents that will be included in this binder right now — they are posted on our website. (Go to encorpatl.ca, then look for the Operations & Logistics web page in the RC Operators menu.)
In the days leading to April 1, RCs should expect to receive their binder and all its printed documents and a shipment of educational/promotional materials (posters printed on corrugated plastic, handouts, and other items).
