For all redemption centres with EnSys-Connex POS,
This message concerns the changes that will be made to your EnSys-Connex POS system on Sunday, March 31, 2024, to reflect the changes in sorting as of April 1, 2024 (see the new Sort List and screenshots below).
Because we are merging some existing sorts together, there will be fewer open bags on your floor. Therefore, we will automatically close and deactivate the redundant/extra bags for you on March 31.
The following image shows which bags/tubs will remain in use and which “new” sort(s) they will contain.
The following bags/tubs will be closed and deactivated on March 31. Please print the tags for these bags/tubs and ship them as-is (even if they are not full). You will find them on the “Closed Bags” screen. They will be marked as “Automated Close”.
Lastly, you will need to open a new bag for sort #10 – PET (Alcohol).
***Note: Given that all aluminum cans will be combined into a single sort (as of April 1) and use the existing #1 Aluminum bags you have open on your floor, you will effectively have less open Aluminum bags on your floor than you have today (#15/16 bags will be closed and deactivated). If you would like to add additional #9 – Aluminum bags (e.g., you want to have one #9 bag per table instead of all tables sharing a single bag), or you would like to change your floor plan in any other way, please contact us so we can arrange for these changes on March 31.
