Many Redemption Centres (RC) have had Encorp’s EnSys Connex POS system installed and the benefits are already being felt.
Seunghwan Kim, owner of Acadia Bottle Exchange in Cap-Pelé, was one of the early adopters of the POS system.
“Now, it is so easy to check inventory. I mean, before I had to take a calculator every hour to check.”
Mr. Kim continues: “I can check how much I’ve paid out. How many customers have come in. And it’s all right there for me to access.”
Along with Acadia Bottle Exchange, POS systems have been installed at two Valley Redemption Centre locations in Moncton, Valley Glass Recycling in Dieppe and Billy’s Bottle Exchange in Dalhousie.
Additional installs are scheduled to take place at RCs in Quispamsis, Memramcook, Rexton, Port Elgin, Grand Falls, Woodstock, Petit-Rocher and Doaktown.
The POS system will allow RCs to process and record transactions and will support the counting and sorting of beverage containers from walk-in and pre-count customers. Additionally, we will maintain the system for you! Most maintenance can be done remotely with limited impact on employees. Additionally, it will improve the customer experience by providing a smoother and more transparent transactions.
RC owners can access funding of $2,500 for the installation of the POS system. This POS allowance will only be available until March 31st, 2022 for RCs who have committed to the installation of the POS and have entered into a service agreement with Encorp.
This investment is made possible with the business development strategy for RCs proposed by Encorp. Contact Patrick Surette at (506) 852-1965 or e-mail [email protected] to schedule a demonstration or to obtain further information on the benefits of the POS for your RC.
