As part of New Brunswick’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Beverage Containers Program, Encorp Atlantic/Encorp Atlantique (“Encorp”) sets a container recycling fee (CRF) on container material types as needed specific to the net costs associated with managing each material type. As a non-profit organization, Encorp regularly reviews the expenses and revenues associated with each container material type to ensure fees remain appropriate. CRF rates are updated annually, with new rates coming into effect on April 1. Encorp may also adjust CRF rates at other times in response to unexpected financial circumstances. Any rate changes are announced at least 90 days prior to their effective date.
This notice is being provided in advance to allow you time to prepare for the adjustment. We can now confirm that the CRF rates in effect as of April 1, 2026, will remain unchanged from the current rates — no decrease or increase in CRF rates is planned.
