Our exciting new Reduce Waste campaign launched May 1st in New Brunswick (NB)! The purpose of this campaign is to educate consumers on how to prepare their beverage containers before returning them to a redemption centre and promote best practices to minimize waste throughout the recycling process. Ads are now running on social media throughout the province and will continue through the end of June. Another campaign phase is planned later in the fall for a second round of education.
Recycling Matters is also expanding its reach this year with several exciting new placements, including partnerships with Cineplex theatres and the Saint John Sea Dogs and Moncton Wildcats hockey teams! A new Recycling Matters video has also been developed and will be promoted across social media channels, as well as featured in our next phase of Cineplex advertising.
We are also proud to be participating once again in the national Beverage Container Recycling Network of Canada (BCRNC) social media campaign in both PEI and NB. This year’s initiative includes a dedicated focus on carton recycling, with the goal of increasing awareness and ultimately improving carton recycling rates across Canada.
