We wish to express our gratitude for the interest and participation in our recent webinar on Quality Control (QC) held on May 24, 2023.
Please note that the presentation materials from this webinar are now accessible on our website’s Quality Control webpage. Additionally, we are working on a summary document addressing the questions, comments, and concerns raised during the webinar. This document will be shared with the Department of Environment. It will also be made available to redemption centres. Once the document is finalized and ready, we will notify redemption centres accordingly.
Additionally, for those unable to attend the webinar, we have some exciting developments to share regarding our QC program.
Firstly, starting this fall, we will introduce a new confidential reporting tool that will be sent to each redemption centre monthly. This report will showcase your centre’s accuracy trend and offer valuable insights to help you identify areas for improvement. By having this information, you’ll be able to take action earlier when necessary. (You can find and view an example of this type of report on our Quality Control webpage.)
Secondly, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our Accuracy Awards. We are currently working on the details of this recognition program, which aims to celebrate redemption centres that consistently demonstrate exceptional QC standards. Redemption centres will receive prizes to share with their employees as part of the awards. We hope this recognition among peers will also foster the sharing of best business practices among redemption centre operators, and we are exploring ways to facilitate this knowledge exchange. More information about the launch of our QC Accuracy Awards will be provided in our summer RC Journal and in subsequent communications closer to the launch.
