Encorp is pleased to announce that it is continuing its popular Support Our Recycling Heroes ad campaign for 2026, with ads set to resume in February and run to the end of May to help give a boost to school bottle drive fundraising efforts for this last semester of the school year.
This campaign encourages the public to donate their beverage containers and deposit refunds to local schools participating in our Recycling Heroes in School program. The goal is to get more people to return used beverage containers to redemption centres (RCs) while helping participating schools raise funds for their programs and activities.
All featured social media ads direct audiences to the campaign’s webpage, which lists participating schools and their partner RCs where donations can be made directly to school accounts.
We want to emphasize that the campaign does not require any additional work from you beyond your regular operations. Customers who wish to support a school will let your staff know at the counter, and you can add the containers to the designated school’s commercial account. Simply treat this transaction as you would any other donation or bottle drive drop-off. If you have never done a transaction to school accounts before, we encourage you to check our Operations & Logistics page to find a handy refresher document on managing school accounts (note that the document is also attached to this email for quick/easy access).
As a reminder, if you have schools recycling at your RC that are not currently participating in our Recycling Heroes in School program, you can encourage them to sign up for the program for free on our website.
