To follow up on the communication below, our New Brunswick Alcohol Beverage Containers Deposit Remittance Form had to recently be updated to correct an error in the “Distributor Number” form field. The revised form will now allow you to correctly input your official Encorp Distributor Number – starting with the letters “AL.”

Important Reminder for Craft Alcohol NB members,
In March, we informed all Craft Alcohol NB members that starting April 1, 2023, an agreement would be in place with Craft Alcohol NB to allow Encorp Atlantic to act as their Distributor Agent responsible for recycling beverage containers for alcohol beverage products sold int their retail locations. Each Craft Alcohol NB member should have received a letter from Encorp with their official Encorp Distributor Number.
We wish to remind Craft Alcohol NB members that their first deposit remittance payment to Encorp, which will be the deposits collected on beverage containers for alcohol beverage products sold in their retail locations during the month of April 2023, will be due soon.
Unless they have been advised otherwise, distributors represented by Encorp as their Distributor Agent must report to Encorp monthly, and each report is due within 10 days of the end of their monthly accounting cycle. For each report and deposit remittance, Craft Alcohol NB members must fill out and submit Encorp’s New Brunswick Alcohol Beverage Containers Deposit Remittance Form. Deposit remittance payments to Encorp are due within 30 days of the end of the monthly accounting cycle. Payments can be sent via electronic funds transfer or cheque.
Please note that Alcool NB Liquor (ANBL) will continue to collect and remit deposits on behalf of Craft Alcool NB members for all beverage products that they sell via ANBL locations. The beverage container deposits that must be reported and remitted to Encorp are only those customers pay when purchasing alcohol beverage products from Craft Alcool NB members in their own retail locations.
